Horse racing in February returns to Hereford Racecourse with an afternoon of jump racing on Thursday 4th February. It's a proper winter day at a cosy, friendly course where you can get right up to the action.
Stand by the rail and you'll hear the hooves before you see the runners. Then the field jumps the last and the crowd gets loud. It's about as close as you can get to jump racing, and it never gets old.
Midweek crowds are easy-going, so there's room to wander down to the parade ring, see the horses up close and pick out your favourites with a hot drink in your hands. Wrap up warm if you're heading trackside.
Our Snaffles Restaurant package gives you table service, a freshly prepared three-course meal and a reserved seat with a view of the track. Prefer to stay on the move? The bars and food stalls around the course serve hearty winter dishes and hot drinks.
Book ahead to get the best price. Children aged 17 and under go free with a paying adult, so it works well for a family day out.
