Horse racing in January is back at Hereford Racecourse with an afternoon of jump racing on Monday 18 January. It's the first Seasonal Afternoon Racing fixture of the year, in the Herefordshire countryside, and a good way to get the new year moving.
Stand by the rail and feel the ground shake as the field comes past. Then listen to the cheer go up as they reach the line. Hereford is a cosy, friendly course and you get right up close to it all.
There are no weekend crowds, so it's easy to wander down to the parade ring, watch the horses being got ready and pick your favourites with a hot drink in your hands. Wrap up warm if you're heading trackside.
Our Snaffles Restaurant package gives you a three-course meal, a reserved seat, a racecard and table service all afternoon, with a view of the track. If you'd rather stay on the move, the bars and food outlets around the course serve everything from quick bites to warming drinks.
Book ahead for the best price. Children aged 17 and under go free with a paying adult, so bring the family.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
Concessions discounts are only available on the day.
All bookings directly through our website and over the phone with our customer service team do not incur a fulfilment fee – the price you see, is the price you pay! Bookings through our official hospitality partner Seat Unique have a fulfilment / booking fee applied. All bookings are made in accordance with our terms and conditions of entry.
Tickets will go on sale soon for this event.
