There are a multitude of ways to travel to Hereford Racecourse. When we asked Mike Parcej, a friend of the racecourse and passionate horse racing fan, here's what he had to say:

''There is a regular local bus "circular" service, the no 492 Holmer and Bobblestock Circular, that stops off at the Starting Gate Pub, a short walk from the racecourse entrance. This is the No 492 bus that runs regularly, from the Maylord Shopping Centre, taking approx 8 minutes each way. Unfortunately the railway station is a reasonable walk out of the town, however if you wish to walk to the track, an excellent new link road and pavement has just been built. If you walk right out of the station instead of left, it links you to the main road towards the course, just north of the football ground.''
