Situated just outside Hereford city centre with striking views of the Welsh mountains, Hereford Racecourse is proud to be part of a region steeped in rural tradition. We recognise the vital role our surrounding landscape plays - not just in the beauty it offers our racegoers, but in the lives and livelihoods of our local farming community.
We are dedicated to enhancing and protecting the environment in everything we do, from reducing waste and the use of single-use plastics, to improving energy efficiency across our racecourse and facilities. We work with local suppliers wherever possible, not only to reduce our carbon footprint, but to support local businesses and agricultural producers within our community.
We’re constantly reviewing and renewing our practises to ensure Hereford Racecourse remains a positive presence for future generations. Because racing may be our passion, but looking after our land and community is our promise.
