Fresh air, festive fun and thrilling jump racing for the whole family, days after the 19th Christmas Jumper Day fixture
Hereford Racecourse is delighted to announce a brand-new addition to its festive calendar. Festive Family Raceday will take place on Sunday 27th December 2026, giving local families a reason to get out of the house between Christmas and New Year.
The new fixture follows the racecourse's 19th Christmas Jumper Day meeting and builds on the growing buzz around festive racing. Between the wrapping paper and the leftover Quality Street, Festive Family Raceday is a relaxed day out for racegoers of all ages, and for any guests staying over the holidays.
With six to eight jump races on the card, there is plenty of action from the parade ring to the finishing post. Whether you are a seasoned racegoer or a first-timer, there is something for everyone.
"We're thrilled to be introducing this exciting new festive fixture at Hereford Racecourse on 27th December. We're expecting a bumper crowd and, with the racing featuring as part of ITV's Christmas racing schedule, it promises to be a fantastic occasion for the racecourse and the local community. It's a wonderful opportunity for friends and family to come together over the festive period, enjoy a great day of racing and continue the Christmas celebrations in a memorable way. We're really looking forward to welcoming everyone to Hereford for what promises to be a brilliant day. Tickets are available now on our website and remember that all under 18s can attend for free."
