Horse racing in February comes to Hereford Racecourse with an afternoon of jump racing on Sunday 28 February. It's a weekend fixture in the Herefordshire countryside, so bring the family or a few friends and make a day of it.
Hear the hooves hit the turf, then the cheer as they pass the post. Hereford is a cosy, friendly course and you're close enough to feel every stride.
It's a relaxed Sunday, so there's time to wander the enclosures, see the horses up close in the parade ring and pick a favourite with a hot drink in your hands. Wrap up warm if you're heading trackside.
The Snaffles Restaurant has a three-course menu, reserved seating all afternoon, a racecard and table service, with a view across the course. Bars and food outlets are open around the course too, with hot snacks, racecourse favourites and plenty to drink.
Book ahead to secure your place. There are no booking fees when you buy direct online or by phone. Children aged 17 and under go free with a paying adult, so it works well for a family day out.
