Courtesy is often so sadly lacking in modern society and service, however, it was most pleasant to be a recipient from your organisation. As the secretary of this club and new to race horse ownership I found your introductory letter and race day literature most helpful and would wish that all racecourses offered the same facility. Just a brief note to congratulate all concerned with Sundays meeting. My daughter and her friend won (dead heated) for the kids karaoke – very good idea as keeps them well entertained and stops them from being bored – the fireworks were excellent and bar Young Tot getting collared close to home and losing by just half as length the day would have been perfect. On behalf of all the members of Out of Bounds Racing Club who attended, many thanks. The club now dissolves as Tot is going to the Ascot sales today – those of us continuing hope to buy him back but if not will look for another and hopefully will run at Hereford in the future. Mind you I expect my colours up in the owners and trainers bar in due course (just joking)

I had not been to Hereford Racecourse for quite some while but our partnership had a runner at your meeting last Thursday 2nd October. I was most impressed with the effort and attention to look after owners. Our Hostess, Liz Smith, was very helpful and made sure that owners were welcomed when the arrived into the Owners and Trainers Bar and ensured that any queries that anyone may have had were answered courteously.
