Situated On the edge of the Cathedral City that forms a natural gateway to the idyllic Brecon Countryside, Hereford Racecourse stages 14 exciting National Hunt race meetings, as well as an Arab race day. With a variety of weekday and weekend, Hereford Racecourse is a great day out for all. Hereford regularly attracts a large number of runners in most races, often resulting in close finishes, guaranteed to provide the racegoer with a thrilling spectacle every time.
As well as superb racing on offer, Hereford Racecourse can offer hospitality, Restaurant and Sponsorship packages and for non-racedays we are a venue for any occasion be it a conference, wedding, exhibition or private party.

Our Glamorous Ladies Day

This is the most popular and glamorous day in our racing calendar. There will be competitions for Best Hat and Best Dressed Lady with some fantastic prizes on offer. Live music will be entertaining guests before an exciting afternoon’s racing. -
Beer and Cider Day

One of the most popular racedays in the Hereford Racecourse calendar, our Beer and Cider Raceday is a great way to spend your Sunday afternoon. As well as exciting racing action, this raceday also features the renowned wife-carrying race sponsored by Wye Valley Brewery Day, with the prize for winning being the combined couple’s weight in beer!
